Our university is a high-level research university. Of course, many of our alumni eventually got a fairly high level of work, industry and academic research. So far, our universities have been closely linked to many big companies, and then most of our students have decided to start their own companies.
Entrepreneurship is definitely an important thing for us to encourage students. The real uniqueness of the university’s completion of the master’s program is that we always do group work in these group work. We are really pushed and encouraged to think critically. We must cooperate with different people from different countries. There is conflict or pressure in a real working environment. However, implementing it is a challenging task, and you can make some friends.
First of all, I’ve been to Amsterdam before and I fell in love with this city. I think it’s gorgeous. I like the delicacies of Amsterdam. I am looking for a research in my field. I really need to get some knowledge that I want to acquire. What I really like, the master’s course I pursue is called cultural organization management. This is a very unique plan. All other European University do not have such a plan.
Personally, in terms of teaching methods, I like to be in a few universities, which have these periods throughout the academic year. We have the latest articles and good teaching materials for better understanding.
In a design, the course is mixed in a specific area, and you are studying it and you have these periods. You only need to learn and master the profound knowledge of these articles. At the end of this period, you must pass the exam. In this way, you can learn gradually and easily.
The uniqueness of our department is that we combine different fields, such as human sports science, psychology, physiotherapy, orthopaedics or other health sciences. We combine it with experimental research skills, which brings a lot of creativity to the Department.
Amsterdam is great. It’s like a vibrant city. It’s very small, so if you have a bicycle, you can get there easily and quickly. Everything is very close. These houses are great and related to Holland culture. I think they are friendly, open-minded, curious and acceptable to the new culture.
Many students will find jobs after graduation, a large part of them are in the Netherlands, where we have a good system. Our government allows students from non-EU countries to stay for up to a year to find suitable print assignments. We call it search. EU students in the EU can move freely and find jobs in the EU region.
I was strongly supported by the food team. During the application process, they helped me apply for a student visa at Holland Immigration Bureau. At the same time, they applied for the student grant I applied for. I am an international student. This is very complicated, because I do not know the procedures in Holland. In short, the team helped me a lot.
The application process is online, so students can knock on our digital door and send us all the application documents. Our main emphasis is on academic performance, so we’ll look at the transcripts of previous education, possibly the type you’ve done in the past, or the type of literature you’ve used in these courses.
The second thing we are concerned about is your entire file or your motivation, your resume and the papers you wrote in the batch. One interesting thing about VU is that it tries to attract international talents through scholarship programs.
Once I applied for a master’s degree, I applied for a scholarship, and I was one of them nominated. That’s the way I came here. My tuition is entirely provided by scholarships and students nearby. In addition, they provide a lot of career advice and organize online activities to keep these scholarship students in touch with big companies in Amsterdam and start your career.
